Sponsorship Letter

To our gracious sponsor,

I am pleased to announce that we will be fielding an independent winter guard in the Elizabethtown area for the 2008 season. Our program has been developed to enrich the lives of young people ages 15 to 21 in central Kentucky and surrounding areas. We are pleased to offer this opportunity and begin to build a legacy of greatness within the pagentry arts representing our community and its youth.

Some of our members will include Elizabethtown High School graduates, LaRue County High School graduates, Central Hardin High School graduates, Western Kentucky University students, not to mention many others.

The Elizabethtown Independent Winter Guard will be a member of the Tri-State Winter Guard and Percussion Circuit and Winter Guard International. The guard will be traveling in Kentucky to compete, as well as, Indianapolis, IN, Nashville, TN, and Dayton, OH.

Similar to most recreational activities, it takes money to operate this program. Some of our start up fees include standard equipment, uniforms, competitive entry fees, travel expenses, and rehearsal space. In order to make the dreams of these young people come true, we must fundraise. This is where you come in!

We are calling upon many of the local businesses within the community to help us fund our journey this season. We are asking for $100 sponsorships to help deter our expenses. As a thank you for your generosity, we ask that you include a business card or necessary information to put on the back of our 2008 show t-shirt. Each member will wear the t-shirts to competitions and whenever they choose.

Your gracious donation to our group would be greatly appreciated. You can be sure that it will be used to better the lives of young people.
